Included Features | Standard Cloud Edition

Operational and analytical workload support
Connectors to structured and unstructured data sources
Support for all synch methods and synch modes Synch policies can be defined at the field level, and can be either time based, event based (using CDC, message-bus, or API) or on-demand.
Data virtualization support
Encryption at rest and in transit
Data Viewer The Data Viewer enables you to view a Micro-DB, add debugging capabilities and improve testing and defect resolution times.
Low code/no code data orchestration Supports basic and advanced data processing operations via built-in actors
Graphit – No-code Web Services generator Graphit is a utility which can be used to design platform Web Services responses. Graphit provides a very user-friendly interface and requires minimal coding while enabling powerful debugging capabilities.
Data catalog and data lineage support
Embedded BI for reporting and dashboarding
Continuous deployment K2View is fully integrated with Git (for data product model management, and data pipeline metadata). Deployment and build artifacts can be performed by 3rd party tools (e.g. Jenkins) – which have the appropriate permissions – to support CI/CD
Role-based access controls

Enterprise Edition Addons (Optional)

Hybrid clusters (cloud, on premise) Price for customer infra will not be consumption-based
Multi-availability zones/ regions/ DR Each AWS Region consists of multiple, isolated, and physically separate Availability Zones within a geographic area
Attached infrastructure (BYO Kubernetes)
VPC Isolation / PrivateLink A virtual private cloud (VPC) is a secure, isolated private cloud hosted within a public cloud. AWS PrivateLink provides private connectivity between VPCs, AWS services, and your on-premises networks, without exposing your traffic to the public internet.
Application-level monitoring
Dedicated infrastructure Every dedicated infrastructure solution is a separate project tailored to your unique business needs
Audit logs
Account isolation Having multiple AWS accounts under which you run your production, testing, and experimentation activities.
High backup frequency
Cloud marketplace billing integration
HIPAA support
PCI compliance
FIPS-140-2 compliance

Frequently asked questions

A K2view data product manages the data for each business entity instance (e.g., specific customer, product, order, etc.) in its own high-performance, compressed, and encrypted Micro-Database, which is created, updated, and made accessible to any authorized consuming user.

Because it only holds the data for one business entity instance, the average size of a Micro-Database, after compression, is much less than 1MB.

If it is greater than 1MB, the read/write units are factored accordingly. For e.g., for a Micro-Database size of 2MB, every read/write operation is counted as 2 read/write units

No, storage is only relevant when persisting data in the Micro-Databases.

We provide a single modular platform. The only 3rd party software we use are Casandra or Azure Blob Storage for storage (of the Micro-Databases).

Yes. K2view can be configured as a cluster of multiple nodes, spread over multiple data centers, to support data consumers issuing inbound data queries.

We support private cloud deployment. Pricing will be similar to an on-premise deployment.

Since pricing is based on the number of operations (read, write, store, etc.) on your Micro-Databases, regardless of data product type, pricing isn't affected by the number of data products.
