K2View was founded with a vision to help enterprises accelerate their transition to the world of big data by creating a modern, distributed data management platform that manages data in a way that delivers unparalleled speed and agility. Our platform, K2View Fabric integrates data from any underlying source (RDBMS, Big Data, Cloud, IoT and more) and delivers it in real-time to any end user, platform or application.  We understand the complexities of large data ecosystems and built our solutions with the scale and flexibility to solve some of today’s toughest data management challenges.

MANAGEMENT

 

Nick Lazzaro - CEO
Mr. Nick Lazzaro is an accomplished executive, with 20+ years experience in technology and telecommunications, including executive positions at Synchronoss, Vonage and Amdocs. He has a solid track record of building successful software businesses and running technology organizations in both large and small environments.  Nick was most recently the Executive Vice President of Strategy and Product Development at Synchronoss Technologies (SNCR), responsible for corporate strategy and development of their cloud and activation platforms. Prior to joining Synchronoss Technologies, Nick held several management positions including, Senior Vice President of Product Development, Information Technology and Mobile at Vonage Communications (VG) and Division President at Amdocs (DOX). He also has held roles at SBC Communications, Ernst and Young, Iridium, and served as Vice President at Fujitsu.  Mr. Lazzaro received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from SUNY Buffalo.

Rafi Cohen - COO
Prior to joining K2View, Rafi Cohen held several key positions at Amdocs (NYSE:DOX), most recently heading up the Worldwide Migration group, where he managed a team of 400 people responsible for data migration projects in diverse, complex environments. Previously, Rafi served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Computer and Technology division, where he managed major computer centers and a large team of software engineers, system analysts and programmers. Rafi holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from the University of New Haven in CT, USA.

Achi Rotem - CTO
Achi Rotem founded K2View in 2009 and now serves as the company’s CTO. Prior to founding K2View, Achi held several key positions at Amdocs (NYSE:DOX), where he led major and complex BSS migration projects, including the migration process following the Sprint-Nextel merger. Previously, Achi was AVP, Chief Solutions Architect, at TTI (Team Telecom International, NASDAQ: TTIL, later acquired by TEOCO Corporation), where he was actively engaged in translating market requirements into viable solutions with true business value.

Mony Ben-Avi - General Manager, EMEA/LATAM
Prior to joining K2View, Mony Ben-Avi held senior management roles at Amdocs (NYSE:DOX), most recently SVP, Customer Delivery, where he conceived, developed and delivered complex, fully-integrated market solutions and recruited and led large-scale, multi-disciplinary and globally-distributed teams. Mony holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering.

Von Wright – Vice President, Customer and Market Strategy

Von’s career started in consulting where he built the new product and technology practices at American Management Systems and led North American Sales at Sapient.  In 2002, Von joined Cingular Wireless to lead the strategy, innovation and customer experience functions.  After Cingular, Von joined AT&T as their first Marketing VP of Platforms, responsible for their ATT.net and Uverse.com businesses.  Von later returned to consulting as the Chief Experience Officer at Capgemini, where he served clients in Automotive, Retail, Healthcare and Communications.  Over the last three years, Von has been involved in a number of start-ups as a founder and adviser.  Von holds MBA’s from Cornell University, K.U. Leuven (Belgium) and a bachelor’s degree from Wabash College.  He is an active member of the Creative Good Customer Experience council and has served as an advisory board member for a number of early stage technology companies.

Yuval Perlov - Vice President, R&D

Yuval Perlov started his career at Team Telecom International (NASDAQ: TTIL, later acquired by TEOCO Corporation) where he created state-of-the-art mediation and ETL products for the Telecom industry, advancing to the role of AVP in charge of R&D for North America. He then proceeded to lead a development group in the eBay catalogs team. Prior to joining K2View Yuval served as CTO of Nextrade Ltd., creating innovative products in the financial sector. He is an alumnae of Tel Aviv University.

David Haight - Vice President, Business Development

Prior to joining K2View, David founded Innovation Marketing Group, a marketing consulting firm focused on the Internet of Things (IoT), upon retiring from AT&T (NASDAQ: T) after 20 years of service. David served in a number of leadership roles at AT&T, completing his tenure as Vice President Business Development with AT&T Mobility’s Emerging Devices Organization, which he initiated. In this role, he built the team and then led the business development team focused on developing business models to bring emerging wireless products to market, now IoT. Prior to this role, David was AT&T’s lead negotiator for the iPhone agreement with Apple, then built the sales operations organization to launch and manage the iPhone and the Apple relationship for AT&T. He spent 15 years leading market business operations teams in Los Angeles and New York City for AT&T Wireless, McCaw, and NYNEX. David has a BS degree from Springfield College and an MS degree from University of Albany.

John Gray - Vice President, Finance

John Gray oversees K2View’s financial and administrative functions. John is an accomplished senior executive with over 25 years of experience leading public and private companies through rapid growth and organizational change in diverse industries, including agri-commodities, financial services, software, and logistics. Before joining K2View, John was Global International Controller for Ecom Agroindustrial Corporation Limited (Ecom), a commodity merchant and sustainable supply chain management company with global operations. Prior to Ecom, John was Chief Financial Officer for Imperial Fire & Casualty Insurance Company, a division of National General Insurance (NASDAQ: NGHC). Prior to Imperial, John was Chief Financial Officer for Union Standard Insurance Group, a subsidiary of W. R. Berkley Corporation (NYSE: WRB), one of the nation’s premier commercial lines property casualty insurance providers. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Ayal Shiran - Chairman
Ayal Shiran is a General Partner in Viola Private Equity, an Israeli private equity fund. Prior to joining Viola, Ayal held senior management roles at Amdocs (NYSE:DOX), where he served as President of the Customer Business Group, responsible for business development, and as Division President responsible for the AT&T group of companies, including SBC, Bellsouth and Cingular. Previously, Ayal was an acting Vice President at TTI (Team Telecom International, NASDAQ: TTIL, later acquired by TEOCO Corporation), where he was responsible for project delivery and post-sale support in the Americas. Ayal holds an MSc in Computer Engineering from the Technion in Israel.

Steve Kostyshen - Vice Chairman and Strategic Advisor
Steve Kostyshen is an angel investor, board member and/or advisor in technology startups, where he continues to hold investments and Advisory Board positions. Previously, Steve founded a number of technology companies, including Informiam, a provider of real-time business performance management services acquired by Alcatel-Lucent in 2007. He began his career at Nortel Communications and as a Management Consultant with Arthur Andersen. Steve has spoken at technology events, has been quoted in industry publications and has appeared on CNBC TV. He holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a BA from the University of Western Ontario, Canada.

Osnat Segev-Harel
Osnat Segev-Harel is an enterprise software industry veteran, leveraging her years of extensive experience to advice companies on go-to-market and M&A strategies, and representing foreign investors looking to invest in the Israeli high tech market. In parallel, Osnat is responsible for Corporate Development at Sapiens, where she previously held the CMO position. During her tenure, she took an active role in 6 M&As that Sapiens completed since 2010, and led the go-to-market strategy and corporate rebranding efforts. During 2005-09, Osnat was Director of sales strategy at Actimize Inc. (now part of NICE systems). Previously, Osnat spent ten years at IBM, serving in different business development roles with focus on the financial services sector. Osnat Segev-Harel holds a BSc from the University of New York and an MBA cum laude from Derby University. She is a board member in TIS (NASDAQ: TISA).
